Smelly Cat, Oh Smelly Cat... What are they feeding you?

A small black kitten came to my window last night... So I let her in.
His fur so soft, her eyes omitting an intense green.
She was beautiful.
She purred at my blinds and scratched at the glass.
I fed her meats which she ate up quickly.
I scratched her fur all up as her head cradled into my hands
She purred and rubbed herself against my leg.
We both fell asleep.
I woke up and the feline was at my side sleeping, now stretching as she rubbed her body on my stomach.
All she wanted was someone to love her.

But she really did because now you're looking in the mirror on your wedding day but you're only half smiling because you wonder if you might not have had to go through with this if it wasn't for the kicking in your stomach. Before you know it, you're looking in the mirror again but you're wrinkled and tired-looking and the world is no longer at your feet yet you have nothing to show for yourself besides a daughter and next time you look you're looking in the mirror and you don't even know what you look like, you can't even recognize yourself so you look away.Yet you still know you can't avoid mirrors in a society as vain as ours."
